This kit is easy to install and does not require machining of your case. Designed in our own shop as a problem solver for eliminating the number 9 thrust washer in favor of a roller bearing. Kit includes srag inner race, needle bearing assembly, hardened washer and special hub adaptor.
This is a complete bolt in 2.20:1 1st close ratio gear kit. Kit is easy to install and roller bearings replace #7 and #6 thrust washer locations. Great for light weight bracket cars with high horsepower. Gearing is designed to help solve traction issues in light over powered vehicles.
Drum holds 7 friction plates. Uses .060 thick frictions and steels. Specify with or without oil drain holes added. Unit is assembled and ready to install less return spring and retainer. Assembled with new seals and clutch plates.

Good for use in trucks or any application in which extra sprag protection is required. Fits 1970up C4 and C5 transmissions. Does not require governor or vacuum modulator.
